Terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This translation is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
The seller
The website teedum.com is published and operated by BEAMWORK, a French simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of 100 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 978 370 344, whose registered office is at 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France.
- EU VAT number: FR72 978 370 344
- Publication director: Charles Caignol
- Contact: the online chat, at the bottom right of every page of the website (reply within 24 to 48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays), or the Contact page
- Email address: contact@teedum.com
Article 1. Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale (the "Terms") govern all sales of products concluded on teedum.com between BEAMWORK ("Teedum", "we") and any buyer ("you"), to the exclusion of any other terms.
They are written in French. A translation is provided in other languages for information purposes: in the event of a difference in interpretation, the French version prevails.
By confirming your order, you declare that you have read these Terms and accept them without reservation. We may amend them at any time: the version applicable to your order is the one online on the day you place it.
Article 2. Products
The essential characteristics of each product (description, dimensions, materials, recommended age, contents of the parcel) are shown on its product page. Our furniture is made from natural materials: slight variations in shade, wood grain or fabric are possible from one piece to another and do not constitute a defect.
Our products are offered while stocks last. If a product becomes unavailable after your order, we will inform you by email: the order is cancelled and you are refunded all sums paid without delay.
Article 3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes, excluding delivery costs. Delivery costs are shown to you before you confirm your order and repeated on the summary.
We may change our prices at any time. The product is invoiced at the price in force when you confirm your order.
For delivery outside the European Union, you are the importer of the products: customs duties or local taxes may be payable on arrival. They remain at your expense and under your responsibility.
Article 4. Orders
You order online on teedum.com. Before confirming, you see a detailed summary of your order (products, quantities, prices, delivery costs, address) and you can correct any errors.
Confirming the order entails an obligation to pay the price indicated. The sale is concluded when we send you the order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right not to confirm an order on legitimate grounds, in particular in the event of a supply problem, an order that is abnormal for consumer use, or suspected fraud. In that case no amount is debited, or all sums paid are refunded to you.
Article 5. Payment
Payment is made in euros, at the time of the order, by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay or any other method offered at checkout. Transactions are handled by Shopify's secure payment system: we never have access to your bank details.
Your account is debited when the order is confirmed. The products remain our property until the price has been paid in full; the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you physically take possession of the products.
Article 6. Delivery
We deliver to mainland France and to the countries offered at checkout. Delivery methods, times and prices are detailed in our shipping policy and shown before you confirm your order.
Unless a different date has been agreed when ordering, we deliver at the latest 30 days after the contract is concluded. If that deadline is exceeded, you may ask us to deliver within a reasonable additional period and then, failing that, cancel the order by registered letter or any other durable written form (the chat or an email is enough). The sums paid are then refunded within 14 days of the cancellation.
Pre-orders. For products offered as pre-orders, the estimated delivery date is shown on the product page. That date is indicative and may vary depending on production and transport times. We inform you of any significant delay. Your legal rights, in particular the possibility of cancelling your order under the conditions described above, remain unaffected.
On delivery. We invite you to check the condition of the parcel in front of the carrier and to report any anomaly (parcel opened, damaged, item missing) via the chat as soon as possible, keeping the packaging and photos. This helps our claim with the carrier, without conditioning your rights.
Parcel not collected. At a pickup point, your parcel is held for 7 calendar days. After that period, or if delivery is refused, the parcel is returned to us: your order is refunded, less the costs actually incurred for shipping and returning it, up to a maximum of 30 euros per parcel (see Article 7).
Article 7. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from receipt of your order (or of the last product, for an order delivered in several parts) to change your mind, without giving a reason and without penalty.
How to exercise this right. Simply inform us of your decision by an unambiguous statement before the deadline: via the website chat, by email to contact@teedum.com, or using the model form in the annex (its use is not mandatory).
Returning the product. You must return the product to us no later than 14 days after informing us of your withdrawal, complete and in a condition that allows it to be resold (original packaging, accessories, instructions). You may be held liable for any depreciation resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the product: the refund may then be reduced accordingly.
Return costs. The cost of returning the product is at your expense. Two options:
- you organise the return yourself, with the carrier of your choice: nothing is deducted from your refund;
- you ask us to organise the return: we tell you the exact amount before sending you the label. That amount corresponds to the carrier's actual price and never exceeds 30 euros per parcel. It is deducted from your refund.
Our furniture is bulky: given its weight and dimensions, it cannot be returned by ordinary post.
Refund. We refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, at the latest 14 days after being informed of your decision. If you chose a delivery method more expensive than the standard delivery we offer, only the standard delivery amount is refunded. We may withhold the refund until we have recovered the product or until you have provided proof that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same payment method as the order, at no cost to you.
Exceptions. In accordance with article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure or clearly personalised at your request.
Non-compliant or damaged product, or an error on our part. This is not a withdrawal: we cover 100 % of the return costs and send you a prepaid label (see Article 8).
Article 8. Legal guarantees
All our products benefit from the legal guarantees, free of charge for you and independently of any commercial guarantee.
Legal guarantee of conformity and guarantee against hidden defects
The consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in the event of a lack of conformity. During that period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity requires the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the goods.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to the repair or replacement of the goods within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience for them.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer requests the repair of the goods but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date of replacement of the goods.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund against return of the goods, if:
1. The professional refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2. The repair or replacement of the goods takes place after a period of thirty days;
3. The repair or replacement of the goods causes major inconvenience for the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the costs of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4. The non-conformity of the goods persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring them into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the goods or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. In that case the consumer is not required to request repair or replacement of the goods beforehand.
The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are immobilised for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the repaired goods are delivered.
The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who in bad faith obstructs the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to up to 10 % of average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two years from the discovery of the defect. That guarantee gives the right to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund against return of the goods.
Who provides these guarantees? BEAMWORK (Teedum), 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France. To rely on them, contact us via the website chat or at contact@teedum.com, giving your order number and, if possible, a photo of the defect. We reply within 24 to 48 working hours and cover all return costs, with nothing to pay upfront.
We do not grant any commercial guarantee in addition to the legal guarantees. Commonly used spare parts (screws, straps, cushion) can be supplied free of charge throughout the legal guarantee period.
Article 9. Complaints and consumer mediation
For any complaint, first contact our customer service via the website chat or at contact@teedum.com. We undertake to reply within 48 working hours and to seek an amicable solution.
In accordance with articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, after sending us a written complaint that has not received a satisfactory reply within two months, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge with a view to an amicable settlement of the dispute. Mediation is optional and does not deprive you of any legal remedy.
The contact details of the consumer mediator competent for Teedum are provided on request via the website chat and will be published here.
Article 10. Liability
Our products comply with the European regulations applicable to furniture and articles intended for children. They must be assembled, installed and used in accordance with the instructions provided and under adult supervision.
Our liability applies under ordinary law, in particular under the legal guarantees and liability for defective products (articles 1245 et seq. of the French Civil Code). It cannot, however, be engaged in the event of use that does not comply with the instructions, incorrect assembly, modification of the product or normal wear and tear.
We are not responsible for non-compliance with the regulations of the country of destination when the order is delivered outside France, nor for interruptions, slowdowns or intrusions linked to the internet network and beyond our control.
Article 11. Personal data
The data you provide is necessary to process your order, deliver it, issue the invoice and provide customer service. It is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL). Details of the processing, retention periods and how to exercise your rights are set out in our privacy policy.
Article 12. Intellectual property
All elements of teedum.com (texts, photographs, videos, illustrations, logos, the Teedum brand) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of BEAMWORK. Any reproduction or use, even partial, for commercial purposes and without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
Article 13. Archiving and proof
Purchase orders and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium. BEAMWORK's computerised records are considered proof of the orders, payments and exchanges between the parties. You can obtain a copy of your invoice on request.
Article 14. Referral programme
The terms of our referral programme are set out on the Teedum partnership page. We may end this programme at any time, without affecting benefits already acquired.
Article 15. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. If you live in another European Union country, this clause does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
In the event of a dispute you may bring proceedings, at your choice and in addition to the mediation provided for in article 9, before the court of the place where you were living when the contract was concluded or when the harmful event occurred, the court of the place of our registered office, or the court of the place where the product was actually delivered.

4. Who we share it with
Your data is processed by our team and by service providers acting on our instructions, each for its own part:
- Hosting, store, payment and emails: Shopify (Shopify International Limited, Ireland, and Shopify Inc., Canada), which hosts the website, processes payments via Shopify Payments and sends our order emails and our newsletter. Depending on the payment method you choose, the corresponding provider (for example Apple Pay) also processes the transaction.
- Delivery: our logistics provider, which prepares the parcels, the carriers (Chronopost or equivalent) and our labelling tool Boxtal, which receive your name, address, email and telephone number in order to deliver to you and keep you informed.
- Parcel tracking: ParcelPanel, which shows the status of your delivery on the Order tracking page.
- Customer service: Crisp (online chat) and Shopify's messaging tool, which keep our conversations so we can reply and retain the history.
- Customer reviews: Okendo, which sends the invitation to leave a review and publishes the reviews.
- Referral programme: GoAffPro, which manages referral links and commissions.
- Analytics and advertising: Google (Analytics, Ads, YouTube) and Meta (Facebook, Instagram), only if you have accepted the corresponding cookies. Instafeed displays our Instagram feed on the website.
- Accounting: our online accounting firm, Dougs, which receives the invoices.
- Internal tools: automation and assistance tools (including Make and artificial intelligence assistants) that we use to run the store. They only access the data needed for the task and are bound by confidentiality commitments.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to an authority that validly requests it, or to assert our rights in the event of a dispute.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are established, or host data, outside the European Economic Area, in particular in Canada, the United States and Australia. These transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Canada, US companies certified under the Data Privacy Framework) or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, supplemented where necessary by additional security measures. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Orders and customer account: for the duration of the commercial relationship, then 5 years after your last order (limitation period). Invoices are kept for 10 years, as required by accounting law.
- Prospects and newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years after your last contact with us.
- Customer service conversations: 3 years after the request is closed, or longer if a dispute is ongoing.
- Reviews: as long as they are published. You can ask for their removal at any time.
- Browsing data and cookies: 13 months at most, your cookie choice being kept for 6 months.
- Technical and security logs: 12 months.
At the end of these periods, the data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection (in particular to any marketing) and portability of your data. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before. You can also tell us what you want to happen to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to us via the chat, at contact@teedum.com or by post. We may ask you to confirm your identity if we have a doubt. We reply within one month, which may be extended by two months for complex requests.
Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe via the chat.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France, www.cnil.fr) or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
8. Cookies and trackers
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit. We use:
- Necessary cookies for the website to work: cart, session, language and currency, security, and remembering your cookie choice. They do not require your consent.
- Analytics and advertising cookies (Google, Meta), which help us understand how the website is used and measure our campaigns. They are only placed with your consent.
- The Crisp chat cookie, which lets you find your conversation again from one page to the next.
On your first visit from the European Union, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise non-necessary cookies. Refusing is as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time: delete the teedum.com cookies in your browser and the banner will appear again, or ask us via the chat. You can also set your browser to block cookies, at the risk of disrupting some features of the website.
9. Security
The website runs entirely over HTTPS. Payments are processed by a PCI DSS certified provider: we never have access to your card details. Access to your data is limited to the people who need it, protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
10. Minors
The website is aimed at parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect data about children. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us: we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to the regulations. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version. In the event of a significant change, we will inform you by a message on the website or by email.
Shipping policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This translation is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
We do our utmost to deliver your order quickly and in the best conditions. Here is everything you need to know about delivery of orders placed on teedum.com.
1. Processing time
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1 to 2 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. As soon as your parcel is dispatched, you receive an email with a tracking link.
2. Delivery in mainland France
| Delivery method | Estimated time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup point | 4 to 6 working days | Free |
| Home delivery | 2 to 3 working days | Calculated at checkout |
Deliveries are handled by Chronopost or an equivalent carrier.
3. Delivery in Europe
| Delivery method | Estimated time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup point | 5 to 8 working days | Calculated at checkout |
| Home delivery | 3 to 6 working days | Calculated at checkout |
The countries we deliver to are those offered at checkout. For a destination outside the European Union, customs duties or local taxes may be payable on arrival and remain at your expense.
4. Maximum delivery time and delays
The times above are estimates running from the day after the order. Unless a different date has been agreed, we deliver in all cases no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded.
If that deadline is exceeded, you may ask us to deliver within a reasonable additional period and then, failing that, cancel your order by any durable written form (the chat or an email is enough). We then refund all sums paid within 14 days of the cancellation.
Exceptional delays may occur (extreme weather, strikes, customs holds). We inform you as soon as we know and do our best to limit them; your legal rights, set out above, remain unaffected.
5. Pre-orders
For products shown as pre-order, an estimated delivery date is indicated on the product page. That date depends on production and transport times and may vary: we let you know if it changes significantly.
You may cancel a pre-order that has not yet been dispatched at any time and be refunded in full. The rules on delays and cancellation described in point 4 also apply to pre-orders.
6. Collection at a pickup point
Once delivered, your parcel is held for 7 calendar days at the pickup point. A notification is sent by email and SMS as soon as it is available.
If the parcel is not collected within that time, it is returned to us. Your order is then refunded, less the costs actually incurred for shipping and return, up to a maximum of 30 euros per parcel (see our refund policy). If you would prefer a new shipment, let us know via the chat.
7. On delivery
We recommend checking the condition of the parcel in front of the carrier. If anything is wrong (packaging open or damaged, item missing or damaged), report it to us quickly via the chat, keeping the packaging and attaching photos: this helps our claim with the carrier. This step does not condition your rights: a damaged or non-compliant item is taken back and replaced or refunded at our expense, under the legal guarantees.
Tracking and help
You can track your order with the link sent by email or from the Order tracking page. A question about delivery? Our team replies via the website chat, Monday to Friday.
Refund policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This translation is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
At Teedum, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not, here is how to proceed. The quickest way to reach us is the online chat, at the bottom right of every page (reply within 24 to 48 working hours), or contact@teedum.com.
1. You change your mind: right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from receipt of your order (or of the last item, if it is delivered in several parts) to tell us that you are withdrawing, without giving a reason and without penalty.
Simply tell us clearly via the chat or by email. You may also use the model withdrawal form annexed to our terms and conditions of sale, although this is not mandatory.
You then return the item within 14 days of your request, complete and in a condition that allows it to be resold (original packaging, accessories, instructions). An item visibly used beyond what is necessary to try it may lead to a reduced refund, in proportion to the loss of value.
2. Who pays for the return?
In the case of a withdrawal, return costs are at your expense. Two options:
- You organise the return with the carrier of your choice: nothing is deducted from your refund.
- We organise the return at your request: we tell you the exact amount before sending you the label. It corresponds to the carrier's actual price and never exceeds 30 euros per parcel. It is deducted from your refund.
Our furniture is bulky: given its weight and dimensions, it cannot be returned by ordinary post.
3. Your refund
We refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, at the latest 14 days after being informed of your decision. If you chose a faster delivery than our standard offer, only the standard amount is refunded.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the item or until you have supplied proof that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same payment method as the purchase, at no cost to you.
4. Damaged, faulty or non-compliant item
This is not a withdrawal but the legal guarantees, and it costs you nothing.
- Report the problem via the chat, with your order number and a photo if possible.
- We cover 100 % of the return costs and send you a prepaid label.
- You choose repair or replacement; failing that, you may obtain a price reduction or a full refund against return of the item.
You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery and from the legal guarantee against hidden defects for 2 years from the discovery of the defect. These guarantees are detailed in article 8 of our terms and conditions of sale.
5. Parcel not collected or refused
At a pickup point, your parcel is held for 7 calendar days. If it is not collected within that time, or if it is refused on delivery, it is automatically returned to us.
In that case your order is refunded, less the costs actually incurred for shipping and returning the parcel, up to a maximum of 30 euros per parcel. We tell you the detail of the amount withheld. If you would prefer a new shipment rather than a refund, just let us know.
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way is to ask for a refund of the item received and place a new order, so you do not have to wait for the first parcel to come back.
Need help?
Our customer service replies via the website chat, Monday to Friday, within 24 to 48 working hours. If a disagreement persists, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, under the conditions set out in article 9 of our terms and conditions of sale.

All content on the website (texts, visuals, videos, logos, the Teedum brand) is protected and remains the exclusive property of BEAMWORK. Any unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.
6. Customer reviews and content you publish
You may publish reviews, photos or videos through our provider Okendo. By publishing content, you warrant that you hold the rights to it and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties or public order.

The reviews displayed come from customers who purchased the product. We do not alter the content of reviews and only remove those that are unlawful, abusive, off-topic or manifestly false.
7. Liability
We are not liable for interruptions, slowdowns or damage linked to the internet network, to the user's equipment or to an event of force majeure.
However, our liability for the products sold remains full and entire: legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects, liability for defective products. Nothing in these terms may limit the rights granted to you by law as a consumer.
