Playful and adaptable, it offers two complementary sides: a slide for sliding down and a surface with holds for climbing and safely developing motor skills.

An accessory designed for free movement

Inspired by the principles developed by paediatrician Emmi Pikler almost a century ago, the Teedum reversible ramp invites children to freely explore their motor skills. According to Pikler, toddlers develop harmoniously when they are encouraged to move at their own pace in a safe environment.

At Teedum, we designed a double-sided ramp, suited to climbing arches, that combines a smooth surface for sliding and a side with holds for climbing. The angle, height and stability have been carefully thought out to offer a play experience that is stimulating, intuitive and safe.

How to use the Teedum ramp?

For the littlest ones, the ramp attached to the arch becomes an ideal first obstacle to crawl over, pull themselves up and safely discover the feel of a slide. As they grow, children can use it to climb, slide, test their balance and develop their gross motor skills.

Always under adult supervision, it is essential to let them explore at their own pace, without carrying them or intervening. By experimenting on their own, they learn their limits, gain confidence and progress naturally.

From what age can my child use the ramp?

The ramp is recommended from 18 months, under adult supervision. The youngest can use it for crawling, older children for climbing or sliding.

Is it compatible with all arches?

It is designed to be perfectly compatible with the Teedum arch. For any other arch, we recommend checking the dimensions and the attachment systems.

What is the maximum weight it can support?

The ramp supports up to 50 kg, which is more than enough for children up to 5 or 6 years old.

Is there a right way to install it?

Each side has a function:
- A smooth side to act as a slide
- A side with holds for climbing

The hooks go at the top of the arch to secure the attachment.

Can it be used on its own, without an arch?

No, the ramp is designed to be used together with a climbing arch. It is not useful on its own.

Can it be turned into a table?

Yes! Laid flat between two structures (for example between 2 arches or 1 arch and 1 Pikler triangle), it can serve as a table for playing or drawing.
