A Montessori tower, also called an observation tower or learning tower, is a versatile piece of furniture that gives children a stable, safe platform to reach higher areas such as kitchen worktops or other parts of the home.

It combines the functions of a stool and a stepladder and is fitted with a safety rail to prevent falls.
It puts your children at the heart of the action in the kitchen, letting them take an active part and develop their skills by stirring, cutting, pouring, washing dishes and much more. This tower is also perfectly suited to the bathroom and other rooms in the home.

A Montessori tower is suitable for young children as soon as they can stand on their own, usually around 12 months, and up to about 6 years.
Some children will be able to use it a little earlier, while others will be ready a little later.

Your child will stop using their learning tower as soon as they are tall enough to reach the worktops on their own. Some models, such as our Foldable Montessori Tower, have a height-adjustable platform that adapts as your child grows.

The Montessori tower is well worth it for many families, because it helps young children become more independent. Rather than fidgeting while you prepare a meal, your little one can join in with you and gain independence.
You can also use the tower to help them reach the bathroom sink or take a book down from a high shelf.

Our Montessori tower is designed to keep your children safe and complies with all CE standards, validated by independent laboratory tests.

To prevent risks linked to children's movements, it includes side anti-tip feet, a guard that limits unsupervised use, and safety latches that stop it from unfolding on its own.

However, these devices do not replace parental supervision, which is essential to keep your little ones safe.

Both are just as sturdy and safe.
This convertible tower can be turned into a table and chair, whereas our Foldable Montessori Tower does not offer this option.
The Foldable Tower is easier to store and has a main platform adjustable to 3 heights, to grow with your child.
By comparison, the Convertible Tower does not offer this feature, but has an access step adjustable to 3 levels, used as a seat when the tower is converted into a table.

The safety guard is an accessory intended for the first months of use. It creates a protective barrier while your child gets used to the tower and gains confidence. It limits tipping backwards and unsupervised use.
Please note that if your child is not yet steady or cannot stand without help, it is best not to use the tower until they are fully independent.

Our Montessori tower is made from birch plywood from sustainably managed forests. We use a water-based finish and paint, free from VOCs, formaldehyde and lead.
